Dr. Klein, a Nobel Laureate in Economics, was elected to the Board of Directors of Prognoz in 2006 and is Benjamin Franklin Professor Emeritus of Economics and Finance at the University of Pennsylvania and its Wharton School, having joined the faculty of the University in 1958. He is a holder of earned degrees from the University of California at Berkeley, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Oxford University, as well as a number of honorary degrees. Founder of Wharton Econometric Forecasting Associates, Inc., Dr. Klein has been counselor to various corporations, governments, and government agencies, including WealthEffect.com, the Federal Reserve Board, and the President's Council of Economic Advisers.
