Executive Team

William R. Bumbernick, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Bumbernick has more than 10 years of senior management and entrepreneurial experience in Telecom, IT and Managed Services. Since 1994, Mr. Bumbernick has been involved in executive levels of leadership within the technology and telecommunications sectors. Clients, Customers, and Employers include Rhone Poulenc Roher, Glaxo Smith Kline, General Motors Acceptance Corporation as well as a seat on the Board of Directors of BCG and BCG Securities. Since 2003, Mr. Bumbernick has been focused on emerging VoIP technologies and the establishment and growth of Alteva. Considered by many to be an industry expert, Mr. Bumbernick has been recognized by Smart Business Magazine as their expert in the emerging technology of VoIP.

Louis Hayner, Vice President of Sales

Mr. Hayner has more than 10 years of management and sales entrepreneurial experience in Telecom Services. He was Founder and President of VoiceGard Consulting. This was the Nation's first organization to specialize in Telecommunication Continuity Planning and Restoration. In 2005, Mr. Hayner joined Alteva as the Director of Sales and grew its revenue by 62% within the first year. Mr. Hayner is considered by many to be an industry expert and has been published numerous times, most recently by Communication News. In 2006 he was elected to serve as the Director of Education for the Association of Contingency Planners. He was also included in the Philadelphia Business Journal's “Who's Who” Executives and Professionals.

David Cuthbert, Vice President of Operations

Mr. Cuthbert has ten years of operational management and leadership experience. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and a former Naval Special Operations Officer. In this capacity he has led underwater and land bomb disposal teams domestically and abroad. In 2003, Mr. Cuthbert was assigned the leadership responsibility of the Navy's leading nuclear weapon casualty response detachment. His process innovation and mission accomplishment earned him several high level unit and individual awards. He was regarded as one of the Navy's WMD response experts. His responsibilities included critical process management and leading multiple federal and civil agencies in crisis situations. He joined Alteva in 2006 as the Director of Operations.

Mark Marquez, Vice President of Technology

Mr. Marquez has over 10 years of senior project management and enterprise level architecture design in Telecommunications and Network Infrastructure Services. Since 1996, Mr. Marquez has designed, managed, and implemented complex network and telecommunications infrastructures for small, medium, and enterprise companies including Exelon (PECO Energy), General Motors Acceptance Corporation, DIAL Corp., BBraun Pharmaceuticals and MAXIMUS Corporation. With his leadership and depth of knowledge, he has designed and built a highly efficient and redundant technology infrastructure for Alteva. It is this technology that sets Alteva apart from its competitors. Mr. Marquez is highly regarded within the VoIP Industry as an expert of emerging technologies.
